Selçuk ARTUT is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher whose work explores the intricate theoretical and practical dimensions of human–technology relations. His artistic practice examines how these interactions shape perception, experience, and the boundaries of creativity.
Artut's works have been presented at prestigious venues including Sonar Istanbul, ISEA, AKM Istanbul, Siggraph, Dystopie Sound Art Festival Berlin, Moving Image New York, Art London, ICA London, Art Hong Kong, and the Istanbul Biennale.
Holding a Ph.D. in Media and Communications from the European Graduate School in Switzerland, Artut is the author of nine books. He is a professor in the Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design Program at Sabancı University, Istanbul, teaching creative coding, computational art, and media art practices.
A musician since 1998, he is a member of the post-rock band Replikas and co-founded the live-coding audio-visual duo RAW in 2016. His activities are represented by Zilberman Gallery.
